Lamech Nambajimana holds a bachelor’s degree in development studies from Makerere University and training certificates including in enterprise development issued by ILO, Turin International Training Center, SIYB certificate issued by ILO Master Trainers, Gender audit issued by the ILO Gender department, and successfully completed the Youth Entrepreneurship Development training organized by the Commonwealth Secretariate in Zambia. He is an experienced Program Manager with more than 15 years of experience in leading functions as well as large-scale programs and research assignments, within several lines of business. Lamech has worked with the International Labor Organization for ten years in in advancing decent work agenda in Rwanda and Winrock International in providing technical assistance Rwanda tea industry and cooperative to comply with certification requirements.

Mr. Lamech Nambajimana is an experienced professional Development Programs Manager with more than 15 years of experience in leading functions as well as large-scale programs and research assignments, within several lines of business in International Organization that include but not limited to International Rescue Committee, United Nations/International Labor Organization, Winrock International.

Lamech is as well as a Microfinance policy analyst and accredited Support Assessor. He was hired by SEEP Network to provide technical assistance to INKUNGA finance PLC for a period on six months along which he helped INKUNGA FINANCE

PLC to embark in accompanied assessment and he led the institution to review its policies to meet consumer protection compliance as per the Rwanda National Bank regulations.

Lamech was also a team member affected in Nyamasheke to conduct the forestry value chain analysis, a study which was covering Karongi, Nyamasheke and Rutsiro. Lamech has conducted much research on the behalf of local and international organizations on different themes mainly Decent work deficits assessment in the formal and informal economy, SMES Development opportunities, and others not cited in this brief presentation.
